There are tea parties scheduled all over the nation for tax day, April 15, 2009. This is a purely grass-roots movement to protest the government spending that has led to the largest power grab by American politicians in history.
If you are wanting to attend the Boise Tea Party, you can show up at:
- 11:00 am at Ann Morrison Park
- 11:45 am at Julia Davis Park
- 12:30 pm at Caitol park in front of the Boise Capitol Building
The Idaho Press-Tribune ran a front page feature story on the Tea Parties in Idaho, noting several that are scheduled around the state:
- Coeur d'Alene - 3:00 pm at Independence Point in the City Park
- Moscow - 12:00 noon at Friendship Square
- Council - 12:00 noon at City Park downtown
- Idaho Falls - 6:30 pm at Veterans Memorial on Memorial Drive
- Pocatello - 12:00 noon at Pocatello City Hall parking lot
- Priest River - 12:00 noon at City Hall
- Rexburg - 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at Teton River Bridge
- Twin Falls - 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm on the front lawn of the court house
