Welcome to your source for the original Don't Blame Me Bumper Stickers reading "Don't Blame Me, I Didn't Vote for Him." Distance yourself today from the most leftist president the United States has ever had, Barack Obama.
When his policies fail, and they will, his fair-weather friends (and voters) will be ditching their associations with him left and right. In fact, they'll throw him under the bus with same ease that he threw his friends like Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright under the bus.
History of our "Don't Blame Me Bumper Stickers"
I initially started offering my Don't Blame Me Bumper Stickers late at night during the Fall 2008 campaign. I started off the concept by reversing Palin and McCain on their bumper sticker design so that Sarah Palin was on the top of the ticket. Hence the name "Top of the Ticket" for our Café Press storefront, www.topoftheticket.net. What started off as a joke actually sold over $100 worth of merchandise within a few days, and got my attention. I needed to do more of this!
It struck me that if Obama won, an awful lot of people would end up having "buyer's remorse," and he would eventually become an unpopular president. That's what always happens with the fair-weather media. They love to build up their heros, and they love even more to tear them down and pile on when it fits the popular whim to do so.
When Barack Obama won the election, immediately the idea came to me to parody the same campaign bumper sticker design using the phrase "Don't Blame Me...I Didn't Vote For Him." I figured there were a lot of people that didn't vote for him, and I didn't want to leave anyone out. Some voted for McCain, some for Palin (yeah, I know--I'm talking about different motivations, not different tickets). Still others voted a third party. So this sticker ought to have broad and lasting appeal. I was right.
A bumper sticker with staying power
Unlike many political slogans and bumper stickers, this will have lasting appeal for at least four years. That's a pretty long shelf-life for a political slogan, so you can put this sticker on your car proudly. Since there is a strong likelihood that Obama's popularity as peaked and can only do down from here, you can rest assured that you won't be embarrassed two years down the road, like all the hippies still sporting their Al Gore stickers from yesteryear.
Buy a 10-Pack or more of "Don't Blame Me Bumper Stickers"
If you are part of a club or political organization, consider buying a bulk 10-pack of Don't Blame Me Bumper Stickers to pass around to your friends. In fact, why not buy a 50-pack? You'll be helping to save the country and turn fickle popular opinion back to where it needs to be before the next mid-term election in 2010. Now THAT'S change we can believe in! |
